Regardless of the expected rain, residents of California are encouraged to keep up their efforts to conserve water. Going back to old habits of wasting water will not help; it’s not the time to let down our guard. We’re still in the worst drought California has seen, says water officials.
“Water Board Climate and Conservation Manager Max Gomberg said that some cities had fallen so far behind in their conservation efforts that achieving their mandated goals by February would be “a really high mountain to climb.”
