The Wall Street Journal posted an article on Apirl 19th, about cities in California that follow Gov. Brown’s notice to cut back on water will receive rewards for doing so early on.
“All Californians need to step up more and prepare as if it won’t rain or snow much next year either,” said Felicia Marcus, chairwoman of the State Water Resources Control Board.”
Some agencies feel that the Water Boards demands are unrealistic. The article compares a city like San Francisco without many lawns having an easier time cutting back vs. resort towns in the desert.
