What does it do?
Filters a wide spectrum of contaminants from your water source. These include chlorine, lead, heavy metals, trihalomethanes (THM’s), disinfectant by products (DPBs), sulfur, iron, hydrogen sulfide, and many herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals. Handles hardness up to 8 grains.

Get the Right Version for Your Water
CHLORINE VERSION: Filter media needs to be replaced after 300,000 gallons, or 5 years, whichever comes first. For some of our customers, changes will be roughly every 4 years. Many however, can wait 5 years before changing the media. Change the filter material after 5 years if you haven’t had to earlier.
CHLORAMINE VERSION: Filter media needs to be replaced after 150,000 gallons.
INCLUDES A PRE-FILTER. The pre-filter takes out sediment / particulate matter to protect the primary media. Change the inexpensive pre-filter if ever the water slows, or once a year.

The Medium-size wide spectrum whole house (chloramine) water filter was installed in early March and I am excited to say it’s everything it’s advertised to be. My eyes aren’t red when I get out of the shower. The faucets aren’t building up with mineral deposits (weekly, with our water) and I don’t have to have a filter pitcher on the counter for cooking! Even the houseplants are happier. Hooray. It isn’t “cheap”. It IS worth every penny. The installation was a little puzzle as the water pipe comes in at the basement ceiling. A pretty (and sturdy) wire rack for the filter and a Hilti drill for the pre-filter and we were up and running. Thank you for a helpful product. I recommend it.
