TYPE OF PRODUCT 

SHOWER FILTER HOUSING ONLY.  WILL NOT FILTER WITHOUT A FILTER ADDED INSIDE.  The thread size is standard in the US and will fit any shower pipe.  As long as there is room for it on the pipe, it will fit any US shower.  If you are out of the US, you may need an adapter.

FOR WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES?

For any US shower with a normal water pipe.  In other countries you may need an adapter.
