These new filtering water bottles in stainless steel have a newer variant on activated and powdered carbon filtering with a few proprietary additions that dramatically improve the effectiveness of the filter.  It's called an Ionic-Adsorption Micro-Filtration System.  This patented process reduces most contaminants between 89% and 99.9%.

Even FLUORIDE is reduced by about 65%!   Chloramines are reduced by about 95%!   While chloramines are not an issue for many people, for those who live in areas where it is in the water - to have it reduced this much is remarkable.

And these 27 oz. food grade stainless steel filtering water bottles are non-leaching, BPA-free, reusable, lightweight, and taste-neutral.
