The Aqua Air removes 99% of particulate matter.
Using the Aqua Air
Within 48 hours on average your Aqua Air should have dispensed 20-25 ounces of water in your air. How much humidity is added, however, depends in large part to how humid the air already is. In a damp basement the Aqua Air hardly puts any humidity out.
Our experience is that the Aqua Air effectively works in even a very large room - as long as there is sufficient air movement so that the air cleaner can do its work. A large room just takes longer than a small room to clean. You can't expect the air cleaner to clean more than one room however.
You do not need to replace filter parts in the Aqua Air, as you do with most air purifiers. Periodic cleaning will keep your filter working effectively.
The clean air chamber is where the final filter is. Pull out the tab and stick a case or butter knife in the air chamber and hold the fan. The spray tube comes off the opposite way most threaded items do. It goes clockwise to come off and counter clockwise to go on.

1. Lay the top of the Aqua Air upside down on a table with the cord unplugged. Remove the finale filter and the pre-filter and wash in lukewarm water & soap. Empty the water basin; rinse with soap and lukewarm water. Wipe clean. Clean the inner wall around the spray tube area with a damp cloth. Gently place a butter knife or kitchen knife in the clean air exhaust and hold the fan still, gently turning the spray tube clockwise (the opposite of what your use too) & remove.
3. Hold a finger over the bottom of the spray tube and the other hand around the holes, now place your mouth over top of the spray tube and blow air through the top. Do this in the sink as particulate could spray out spray holes quickly.
4. If suborn plugs are still in some of the holes in the spray tube. Use a pipe cleaner to clean the plugged holes.
5. Reverse the process to reassemble your Aqua Air.
